Federico Giangrandi trained in the artistic enclave of San Francisco in the 1980s. Refractory to labels of any kind, he works with many different artistic tools. An investigator of technologies, he also has experience in the field of creative project management and coding. He works with audio and video editing and digital archiving and has been a consultant for companies that operate in the field of music publishing and producing. Through artistic practices, he designs his own interior Wunderkammer.

We need images capable of generating new sparks, unexpected narratives capable of provoking others, renewing points of view and poetry can occupy and does occupy in the work 438 cm3 of volume with 30 variations by Federico Giangrandi an unexpected space: that of the visual metaphor, moving from the page of the book to the packaging of a tin of peeled tomatoes of those found in any pantry, an object over which our eye runs without stopping. And the verse relies on the box which, maintaining its function, simultaneously becomes a symbolic and tangible transposition of a new image "magnifying glass placed - suddenly - outside the everyday".
